If there’s one word that could describe Confidence Man since the release of their debut album Confident Music for Confident People in 2018, it’s ‘euphoric’. The pandemic clearly hasn’t dimmed their joyful approach to life, and this Australian quartet is back with a bang. Tilt is a hedonistic project that still has dance at its core. It’s been a hit all around the world thanks to the enthusiasm (and great dancing) of the two singers: Sugar Bones and the one-and-only Janet Planet, who never seem to run out of steam. This release is inspired by DFA records and 30 years of dance music, be that New York deep house (Woman), UK garage (Toy Boy), synthpop (the incredible single Holiday), Swedish pop (Push It Up) or Chicago house (Trumpet Song). With lively bass lines, a funky disco vibe and catchy choruses that you can’t help but sing along to, this album is filled with a string of hits that will get everyone dancing like no one’s watching.
