Vocalist and songwriter Meg Myers made a splash with her 2015 debut album, Sorry, and she brings the same talent and vision, as well as three more years of experience, to her follow-up, 2018's Take Me to the Disco. Dominated by dark but sleekly produced pop music with the edge of '90s alternative rock, Take Me to the Disco is the work of a passionate artist unafraid to deal with her emotions head-on -- love, heartbreak, angst, and the refusal to live up to anyone else's expectations.
