Keeping the train rolling, Richest Opp is YoungBoy Never Broke Again's third release of 2023, classified as a mixtape after the full-lengths I Rest My Case and Don't Try This at Home. Following its release, Richest Opp became YoungBoy's 15th Billboard 200 Top Ten entry, at the time equaling the chart records of Drake and Future, and nearly surpassing rap record-holders Jay-Z and Nas, with 16 each. Musically, the mixtape has fewer pop hooks than some of YoungBoy's proper albums, and it's heavy on aggressive, vengeful tracks like "Bitch Let's Do It," "I Heard," and "Fuck the Industry Pt. 2." A few softer, more vulnerable songs also surface, like "Hurt My Heart" and "I Shot Qupid."
