Following the success of his breakout single, "Wrong," St. Louis R&B singer Luh Kel quickly issued his official studio debut, Mixed Emotions. Inspired by singers like Chris Brown and Tank, Kel crafted an album's worth of laid-back, sexy jams delivered with contemporary hip-hop polish similar to Swae Lee. In addition to singles "Wrong" and "BRB," Mixed Emotions also includes collaborations with PnB Rock ("Movie") and Jay Gwuapo ("Gone"). The set debuted on the Billboard 200 upon its release in November 2019.
