Welcoming ex-Helloween/current Gamma Ray guitarist Kai Hansen, a guiding influence on the late-'90s power-metal revival, Hammerfall pays tribute to both Helloween and Ronnie James Dio-era Rainbow with a cover version apiece on the stopgap EP I Want Out. It's an excellent introduction for fans of the newer bands who want to start digging deeper into the roots of the sound.
