Composer Harry Perch (1901-1974) invented a unique microscopic scale that separates octaves into 43 sounds, and has created numerous unusual instruments. First of all, we have developed a unique world with a creative method of sourcing and building musical instruments and stages to realize it. The theater piece Delusions of Anger written in 1966 by the charisma presence of America's avant-garde music, is a masterpiece that is considered a collection of perch art in both the scale and content. The first performance in Los Angeles in 1969 was recorded by Colombia, and is known as the marvel of the enthusiasts in the country. It is important to note the introduction of new recording after half a century.

This work was first performed in Europe in 2013. As the opening performances of the modern art festival in Germany, the art festival Heiner Gabbels and the musical group of WERGO, as well as the musical music playing group. At this time, since the instrument has been rebuilt, it is still possible to perform, and it became a great topic as a brilliant resurrection of historical monsters. And in July 2015, the same combination was represented at the Lincoln Center Festival. This recording was made at that time.

The color photos on the booklet let let let you feel truly whimsical presence of the microscopic musical instruments arranged to integrate with the stage device. The "Delusion" of Anger" is painted with the intense sound of this numerous percussion instrument rattles and takes a considerable amount of time to make and master musical instruments. It was created by musicians who have worked hard to be fearless to the challenging world, and it is truly indestructible.

"Delusions of Anger" consists of a sequence and two banners, and the sequence titled "The Beginning of a Web". Of course, since there is no internet at the time of composing, it means "WEB= Web Network". In the first event of the Nohaku "Sunmori" in Japan, and in the second title, the Ethiopian folk story "justice" is the base of the story, both of which were troublesome and finally reaches to resolution. Maybe it depicts the creation of Perch himself and the squeaks of the outside world. In addition, the "Hobo (Wanderen) has experienced composers herself, and is characterized by Perch work. © wergo

In your panoramas...
Bernard Haitink, a Prophet in his Own Land

The great Dutch conductor who died recently at the venerable age of 92 proved the old adage wrong. Recognised by his peers throughout his own country from his youth, Bernard Haitink spent most of his vast career in the Netherlands, first conducting the Dutch Radio Orchestra and then the prestigious Concertgebouw in Amsterdam for 27 years, with whom he made many legendary recordings for PHILIPS, DECCA and EMI CLASSICS, including more than 450 recordings of a wide range of composers, among which Bruckner and Mahler enjoy pride of place.

Beethoven: Fidelio's Big Adventure

Based on a story from France during the Revolutionary Terror (the story of an intrepid young woman who disguised herself as a man to save her husband from the dungeon), Beethoven's unique opera has had a turbulent life, and has been reworked here and there over the years. New proof of the German composer's musical genius, Fidelio also permitted him to write a musical setting for a libretto that matched his political beliefs.

Gounod: the Romantic, the Mystic

A major artisan of the renaissance in French music in the second half of the 19th century, alongside his elder colleague Berlioz, whom he admired, and his followers Bizet, Saint-Saëns, and Massenet, who were inspired by his faith in Art, Charles Gounod (1818-1893), a mystic and a charmer, a romantic in search of a new classicism, owed his fame to a few masterpieces, which have overshadowed his daring. A flourishing discography allows us to discover the diversity of his music: instrumental, vocal, religious, and lyrical.
