Sweet Trip performs ambient electronic music with hints of ambient pop. This album features unique approaches to electronic drums. It is also made interesting with little synth melodies and atmospheric layers of sound. Influenced by roomy-'80s pop, this album is good and thorough, but not attention grabbing. This truly is good background music for reading or studying. The tracks are sunny, glistening electronica. "Follow Me" sounds like an electric rainforest, while "Come to Me" features guitar and vocals, thus making it the standout track for its use of instrumentation, dynamics, and overall production.
