Longtime Yellow Magic Orchestra member Yukihiro Takahashi has kept himself busy after the end of YMO, combining with fellow member Harry Hosono for the electronica group Sketch Show, among other things. In 2008, Takahashi recruited a supergroup of sorts for a new electro-pop project, Pupa. Floating Pupa uses Takahashi's compositional skills along with ethereal vocals from Tomoyo Harada for a soft, sophisticated sound that carries throughout the course of the album.
