Recorded in 1966 at American Studios in Memphis, the six tracks found here represent some of the earliest known studio efforts by the late Mississippi blues master Junior Kimbrough. Recorded for Hi Records founder Quinton Claunch's Goldwax label, the songs show a raw and ready Kimbrough unfurling the haunting one-chord blues drones on which his later reputation was built; also intact is that inescapable Mississippi hill country beat. This is a vinyl-only 10-inch and includes two different versions "Feels So Good."
