Moving into the world of solo efforts, Elbow frontman and singer/songwriter Guy Garvey presents his debut album Courting the Squall. Written with close friends and members of other bands such as The Whip and I Am Kloot, the record incorporates Garvey’s illustrative lyrical style as well as both familiar Elbow-esque territories and jazz-infused ballads. The release features the songs "Angela’s Eyes," "Electricity," and "Yesterday."
