Night Skinny

Luca Pace, aka The Night Skinny, is one of the leading figures of the Italian rap scene.

Born in the town of Termoli, Molise, Italy in 1983, Pace began his career in the music world as a sound engineer working in Milan. As he transitioned into the role of producer, Pace began collaborating with other artists including the Antipop Consortium, an alternative hip-hop collective from the USA, and Tormento, with whom he released the EP 'Sorry We're Full', in 2009. His first full-length album, 'Metropolis Stepson', wasn't far behind, releasing in 2010.

There was a four-year wait for his second album, 'Zero Kills', but when it dropped it boasted input from the likes of Ghemon, Salmo, Dargen D'Amico, Ensi and MadMan. There wasn't as long a wait for 'City of God' (2015), a 26-track instrumental album, which came out the following June.

'Pezzi', which once again featured a plethora of other Italian artists followed in 2017, attracting critical praise. While previous albums had created buzz in the hip-hop scene, for many this was the album that pushed him to mainstream attention and it debuted at 13 in the FIMI Album Chart.

Pace's fifth studio album, 'Mattoni', dropped in September 2019. It included collaborations with some 26 other artists and topped the Italian Albums Chart.
