Musiko

Musiko is the stage name of Billy Pérez, a Christian music artist born on December 11, 1990, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. He embarked on his musical journey in 2007, marking his singing debut in Quest’s Vision Quest album with "Esperando en Ti." His participation at the renowned Expolit alongside stars like Manny Montes and Triple Seven swiftly propelled him into the limelight. In 2012, fans were treated to Musiko’s debut album, Esperando en Ti, featuring notable collaborations with artists such as Triple Seven and Manny Montes. The subsequent year witnessed the release of his collaborative album 7 with Triple Seven, which earned the accolade Urban Album of the Year at the 2013 AMCL Awards. Diversifying his artistic portfolio, Musiko ventured into directing music videos with Kingdom 1st Films in 2011, clinching four VMCL Awards in this domain. His prowess was evident in his collaborations with heavyweights like Funky, most notably in the hit "Cicatriz" and the singles "Ya No Soy Igual," "Sin Tu Amor," and "Todo Empezó" - the latter two garnering over 50 million views on video-streaming platforms. In the wake of 2017, Musiko unveiled his second solo album Anexo, followed by tracks such as "Creo," "Suficiente" and "Tu Paz," a collaborative single with Lead, Madiel Lara, Un Corazón, and Cash Luna released during the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, Musiko collaborated with Indiomar on the album Dosis, which earned a nomination at the 2022 Arpa Awards for Best Urban Album. He followed this success with the 2023 single "Enamora" featuring Mexican singer Kim Richards
