LOS DOS DE TAMAULIPAS

Los Dos de Tamaulipas is a Mexican regional act led by twin brothers Rolando Zapata (accordion, vocals) and Orlando Zapata (bajo quinto, lead vocals). Both siblings grew up in the Houston area and, inspired by their father's passion for norteño music, they learned how to play their instruments and started performing in restaurants and at parties while still in their early teens. In 2015 they recorded their debut album, Detrás de la Puerta, but they only turned fully professional after signing with the Afinarte label and releasing Soy el Calentano in 2018. Over the years, Los Dos de Tamaulipas -- sometimes expanded to a trio, or even a quartet -- managed to attract a considerable following in both Mexico and the United States with their buoyant, accordion-driven songs, as well as continuous touring and numerous releases and collaborations with other regional artists. The duo's popularity spiked around 2024 with their singles (such as "Pura Adrenalina," "Con Toda La Fe," and "Arriba La Compañía") regularly surpassing the 50 million stream count. Fácil No Fue, a joint album with Legado 7, appeared in early 2025.
