LEWIS Brice
Lewis Brice broke through as a performing artist in the mid-2000s, not long after he appeared in the video for "I Drive Your Truck," a 2014 hit single by his older brother Lee. As a singer, Lewis is funkier than his balladeering brother, specializing in country music that's friendly to pop and R&B while retaining its open-road feel.
Growing up in Sumter, South Carolina, Lewis Brice was a regular in church choir and, eventually, praise & worship groups. Once he was a little older, he moved to Charleston and began playing the local circuit. He settled in the Nashville area in 2006, where he started to perform as he worked on songs. In 2008, he appeared on the first season of CMT's musical competition Can You Duet, coming in at eighth place with his partner Gabriel Jordan. In 2010, his single "Ordinary Girl" made some waves online.
Brice formed a backing band called the Escorts, and began gigging steadily during the 2010s. He headed into the studio with his brother Lee to make the EP that became his eponymous 2017 debut.
