Ken-Y
The romantic vocalist in the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo RKM & Ken-Y, singer Ken-Y launched his solo career after the group split in 2013. Born Kenny Vasquez, he joined José Nieves in 2003 and formed a group that would chart frequently, receive a Grammy Award nomination, and be issued a platinum award for its debut album, Masterpiece. The duo split in 2013 as they sought solo careers. They both released solo albums in 2016, with RKM stating his intentions with the aptly titled Diferente while Ken-Y stuck with what he was known for and released The King of Romance. The album appeared on the indie label Fresh Productions and featured Nicky Jam, Natti Natasha, and Manny Montes as guests.
