Bohnes
After a decade fronting rock outfit the Cab, Las Vegas singer Alexander DeLeon switched courses as the solo act Bohnes. Taking inspiration from a trip to the Paris catacombs, DeLeon started the project as a genre-hopping outlet where he could delve into pop, taking cues from childhood influences like Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, *NSYNC, and Queen. He released his debut single, "Guns and Roses," in 2015, quickly followed by "Middle Finger," which recalled the mainstream rock of Imagine Dragons and Twenty One Pilots. In 2016, he issued a cover of Frank Sinatra's "Witchcraft." A year later, he recruited Matt Johnson (Matt and Kim) and Bryan Sammis (the Neighbourhood) for the single "Six Feet Under." He also released "702" and "My Friends" as additional teasers for his debut full-length.
