Véronique Labbé
Véronique Labbé is a country singer-songwriter born on September 9, 1981 in the Thetford Mines region of Quebec, Canada. She began singing on stage at the age of 14, with her mother Lise Roy. She made 2 albums with her mother, before striking out on her own. Véronique Labbé is the first country singer to make the BDS chart, reaching number 37 in the Top 100 with her song " Si Tout s'Arrête ". The song is a cover of Bonnie Tyler's " It's a Heartache". The song appears on her 2006 album L'Amour est un Mystère. After several shows across Quebec and elsewhere, she released her album J'arrive in 2010. In 2011, she has her own television show, En route vers l'ouest. The show is also broadcast on over 40 radio stations across Quebec, Acadia and France. In 2011, she received the Female Performer of the Year award at the first Francophone Country Gala. She released her third album, Entre ces Murs, in 2013. On this album, she performs the song " J'm'en veux d'y Croire" with renowned singer Irvin Blais. In 2014, she received the People's Choice Award at the Gala Country. In 2015, she released her 4th album. Du Côté Bleu du Ciel. That same year, in 2015, she received the Musique Country award at the 26th SOCAN Gala. In 2016, her fifth album, Mon Noël country , was released. Overflowing with country music projects, she released the album Mon Party Country in 2017. In 2019, the album Une Minute follows. In 2022, she releases her album Honky Tonk Bar.
