Paris Paloma
Paris Paloma is a singer-songwriter hailing from rural Derbyshire in the United Kingdom. Drawing inspiration from mythology, art history and the Romantics, her songs incorporate themes of female fury, grief, love, death and power, with an ethereal sound that takes influences from dark-pop, folk and indie genres, resulting in a unique blend of alternative, indie, and new alternative. Paloma’s debut single “Narcissus” was released in September 2020, followed by her EP Cemeteries and Socials. Since then, Paloma has released a plethora of singles, gaining momentum with “Underneath” (2021), “Cradle,” (2021) and “The Fruits” (2022), however it was feminist anthem Labour, released on March 23, 2023, that propelled her into the spotlight after going viral on social media weeks before its official release, reaching number 29 on the Top 100 singles chart.
