ジェフ・フランツェル

Jeff Franzel is a songwriter, jazz pianist and educator from NYC, with a successful career in the music business for over 35 years. He has accompanied Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme and Sammy Davis Jr. while playing with The Les Brown Orchestra.


Since moved to NYC in the early 80's, Jeff became a successful pop songwriter: his #2 pop hit “Don’t Rush Me” for Taylor Dayne, and writing hits for ‘The Temptations’, ’NSYNC (two Christmas songs), Clay Aiken, Josh Groban, Placido Domingo, and Dianne Reeves. Featured on over 275 records internationally, with more than 20 top ten singles.


Jeff’s song ‘Never Was Blue Like’ (Shawn Colvin) was featured in Runaway Bride. His song ‘When You Know’ (Shawn Colvin) was featured in Serendipity. Currently Jeff has two songs on Rhys Lewis’s (Island Records) upcoming album and with Rhys opening Lewis Capaldi’s upcoming world tour.


Movie composer, Jeff’s music for ‘The Rehearsal’ was nominated for The Indie Series Awards for Best Score. The Rehearsal recently received two Emmys nominations.


His new composing project is the score for ‘Hurt By Paradise’, with ‘An Old Fashioned Mystery’ chosen as first opening single. The soundtrack will be released on Gold Eagle Entertainment, distributed by MusicOK, digital distributions.


During Covid Jeff has been performing Stream Live Videos solo piano concerts every Thursday at 5:00-6:30PM, supporting his fans during these difficult times.
