Gonzy

Singer, songwriter, rapper, and producer Gonzy blends rap, Latin R&B, dance-pop, and reggaeton styles into a captivating cross-cultural sound. After emerging with a trap-focused style in 2021, he increasingly embraced pop on releases like his 2023 studio full-length debut, DESAHOGO. Cuban-American artist Gonzy was born Elian Gonzalez. His first public songs as Gonzy appeared in 2021, with singles like "Banco Virao" and "Casualidad" blurring genres and languages. He delivered bilingual lyrics, and his songs' instrumental production styles flowed between Latin R&B and Americanized pop-rap. In 2022 Gonzy released the mini-album MI FANTASY, and in mid-2023, after striking out with the standout single and Oliver Kid collaboration "La Calma," he released his first proper studio album, DESAHOGO.
