Italian pop singer Franco Califano experienced great success not just as a singer/songwriter, but also as a poet, a writer, and an actor. His work as a musician produced dozens of albums, beginning in 1972. His 2009 album C'è Bisogno d'Amore spent a week on the Italian Hot 100 album charts, peaking at number 40.
