El Drogas
El Drogas is both the alias and the name of Enrique Villarreal's latest band -- Villarreal being, of course, the singer of legendary Spanish punk rockers Barricada. During his long tenure with the band, Villarreal also developed a few secondary projects, to which he turned his full attention when he left Barricada in 2010. He initially re-formed his first group, Txarrena, and promptly released three albums between 2011 and 2012. In 2013, however, Villarreal announced that Txarrena would change its name to El Drogas while retaining the same lineup. Their first release under the new denomination was the triple album Demasiado Tonto en la Corteza. In 2016 Villarreal regaled his fans with a historic concert spanning his three-decade career, documented in the live album Un Día Nada Más.
