Three of Kurt Cobain's ex-bandmates took to the stage in Hollywood last weekend, joined by Beck and St. Vincent. An eclectic mix indeed!

2020 has been great so far for Nirvana fans. On January 4, the remaining members of Kurt Cobain's band took to the stage of the Hollywood Palladium to take part in a charity concert organised by The Art of the Elysium.

Drummer Dave Grohl, now the leader of Foo Fighters, bassist Krist Novoselic and guitarist Pat Smear revisited five Nirvana-esque hymns, with help on vocals from Annie Clark aka St. Vincent, legendary instrumentalist Beck and Violet Grohl (13-year-old daughter of Dave).

The short 20-minute-long set started with a cover of Lithium sung by St. Vincent, followed by In Bloom and Been A Son by Beck.

Then Violet Grohl gave a rendition of Heart-Shaped Box before Beck returned to the mic for The Man Who Sold The World by David Bowie, that Nirvana famously covered during theor iconic MTV Unplugged in New York recorded in 1994.
