This debut album from the Pennsylvania "nu-core" quartet was released after the huge hype generated by their chaotic live shows. Featuring Max Portnoy (son of Dream Theater's Mike) on drums and YouTube "sensation" Justin Bonitz on vocals, the band has drawn comparisons to early Slipknot and Korn, bringing back the spirit of early-2000s nu-metal with gnarly riffs, whipcrack drums, electronic textures, and tortured vocals. A concept piece detailing the tragic consequences of a mother's life-long abuse of her son, the album features the singles "The Silo," "No One Should Read This," and "We, The Sad."
