Recorded at Cinearte Studios in Madrid, De Aki a Ketama is the first live album from the Spanish trio that was at the forefront of the new flamenco scene. The 1995 release includes 12 performances of material taken from their previous ten-year career, including a track from their Songhai supergroup with Toumani Diabaté and Danny Thompson ("Vente Pa' Madrid"), the Antonio Vega duet "Se Dejaba Llevar por Ti," and ten other songs that showcase their unique fusion of salsa, reggae, funk, and jazz.
