This long-awaited debut solo album from the British soul-pop singer/songwriter comes after a long string of singles that have earned him an adoring fan base. Most of those singles are included here, including "What If," "When Was the Last Time?", and "Be Your Man," which set his sweet, supple, slightly raspy tenor to a smooth, often sparse backing which reinvents classic soul tropes in a modern electronic-influenced style.
