Como muchas otras cantantes surgidas de comedias musicales del canal Disney dirigidas al público infantil y pre-adolescente, una vez concluido su rol en Violetta Martina "Tini" Stoessel debió afrontar el desafío de reinventarse como artista solista. En su segundo trabajo Quiero volver Tini apuesta firmemente por subirse al tren de la música urbana latina, aunque también se cuida de incluir pop, balada y hasta reggae, y de cantar tanto en español como en inglés. Como es habitual en este tipo de lanzamientos, Quiero volver contó con el aporte de numerosos productores y compositores así como con las participaciones de Nacho en "Te quiero más", Karol G en "Princesa", Morat en "Consejo de amor", Cali & El Dandee en "Por que te vas" y Sebastián Yatra en "Quiero volver".
