Cinco años y tres semanas, “mil ochocientos cincuenta y cinco días”. Este es el periodo entre los álbumes DAMN. y Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers de Kendrick Lamar. Es difícil imaginar que el mejor rapero de su tiempo vuelva con total sencillez. Este quinto álbum es sorprendentemente denso, tanto en el contenido como en la forma. Muestra la elevada espiritualidad de su autor, una complejidad americana, de nuevo, lo que implica ser a la vez negro e icónico en los Estados Unidos. Este Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers es desbordante y está por encima de la competencia.
