Mientras el documento de audio no es tan emocionante como la experiencia en directo, el disco transmite enormes cantidades de energía en un concierto de Robbie Williams. Mientras el documento de audio no es tan emocionante como la experiencia en directo, el disco transmite enormes cantidades de energía en un concierto de Robbie Williams. Abriendo con su himno "Let Me Entertain You", Williams mantiene a la multitud pendiente de cada nota, modificando la letra para adaptarse al lugar del espectáculo, a la vez que se permite su mezcla habitual de falsa arrogancia y autocrítica, conquistando al público en cada canción. Tras un espléndido inicio (que incluye un breve coqueteo con el "We Will Rock You" de Queen), Williams interpreta cuatro canciones consecutivas del pésimo Escapology. Un sólido álbum en directo con la excepción del enorme hueco en medio, Live at Knebworth es una oportunidad perdida, una que Chrysalis con un poco de suerte rectificará en unos años.
