En este álbum Enrique Bunbury es un poco más tosco que en sus esfuerzos anteriores con Héroes del Silencio y su propio álbum, Pequeño. Las guitarras ganan territorio mientras que el uso de cuerdas y arreglos orquestales es menos intenso. No se trata de un retorno al rock duro que hacía con Héroes del Silencio. Este álbum tiene el mismo problema que su anterior trabajo en solitario: cuando uno lo escucha la primera vez, parece largo y agotador. Pero no está relacionado con la alta calidad de las canciones. Las letras exploran los oscuros territorios de la desolación y la solitud. "Sácame de Aquí", "Lady Blue" y "San Cosme y San Damián" son las canciones destacadas de un álbum muy uniforme. Es uno de sus trabajos en solitario más sólidos hasta el momento.
