Bien recibido no sólo en España sino también a nivel internacional, El Espíritu del Vino fue producido por Phil Manzanera de Roxy Music y generó cinco sencillos en total, siendo los otros cuatro “Flor de Loto”, “Los Placeres de la Pobreza”, “La Sirena Varada” y “La Herida”.
