Brian Natonski (aka Gearwhore) whips up electronica that's cold and danceable. As with most techno-throb of this sort (save work by the Chemical Brothers or Tranquility Bass), there isn't much melody here to speak of. It's all breakbeats and the occasional power chord. But if that's just what you're looking for, go no further than the onion-peel rhythm layers of "Accelerator" or the creatively percussive sampling on "11:11."
