El octavo álbum de estudio de Marilyn Manson, el eterno provocador del rock alternativo, se titula Born Villain y es el sucesor de The High End Of Low, el trabajo de 2009 del grupo. Se ha comentado que el disco posee un sonido más pesado que su predecesor, y que también es una especie de álbum concepto, en el estilo de trabajos similares de David Bowie, una de las grandes influencias de Manson. Como Manson se desligó de Interscope Records en 2009, el artista pensaba editar Born Villain a través de su propio sello, Hell, y de su compañía matriz, Cooking Vinyl. La campaña de promoción del álbum incluyó un film dirigido por el actor Shia LeBoeuf, estrenado en Los Angeles en 2011. Born Villain contiene el corte de difusión "No Reflection".
