Rather than compile a greatest-hits disc to celebrate 35 years in the music business, Tabu Ley Rochereau and his International Afrisa Orchestra re-recorded songs from his remarkable career for this release. Rochereau is the king of soukous music, an infectious dance music from Zaire, and this disc finds him in strong voice with a tight-as-a-drum band.
