Mart Hoogkamer
Mart Hoogkamer is a Dutch Nederpop singer from the city of Leiden. He was born on May 5, 1998, and began performing at a very young age, finishing runner-up on the singing competition Children Sing With Stars in 2008. Eight years later, Mart Hoogkamer participated in the reality show Holland’s Got Talent, reaching the finals and achieving second place after performing a song by Willy Alberti. This led to a recording contract with Sony Music, which released his debut single “In mijn droom” in 2017. That same year, Mart Hoogkamer followed up with the singles “Lekker Leven” and “Als de zon even schijnt,” both of which received heavy airplay in Belgium and the Netherlands. Subsequently, Mart Hoogkamer competed in the reality show Topper Gezocht! and went viral online in 2020 thanks to a cover of “Unchained Melody.” “Ik Ga Zwemmen,” his first Number 1 hit, arrived in the summer of 2021.
