Marie Knight
Versatile singer Marie Knight recorded gospel with the Millionaires, also cutting some nice pop-soul in the early '60s, and some jump-blues and doo wop-flavored R&B. If she's known to rock fans at all, it's because Manfred Mann covered her 1961 single "Come Tomorrow" for a big UK, and small US, hit in 1965.
