Etienne Meyer
French choral director Étienne Meyer pursued conducting and composition at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse de Lyon, and received his teaching certificate in 2001. He has taught at the École Maîtrisienne Régionale de Bourgogne, the University of Saint-Étienne, and the CNSMD in Lyon. Meyer gives concerts with Les Solistes de Lyon, and he has collaborated with the Orchestre de Lyon and the Chorus of the Opéra National de Lyon, though he has established his international reputation with his own group, Les Traversées Baroques, a period ensemble that specializes in Renaissance and Baroque repertoire. Meyer is also a composer of film music.
