Bilal Sghir
Mohammed Berahmoun was born on January 7, 1983 in Oran, Algeria. Quickly inspired by the sounds of Algerian raï, he began his artistic career at the age of 16. Renowned for his work on the Bilal Sghir stage, he perfected his musical technique while studying translation at the University of Science and Technology in Oran. After performing at family celebrations, weddings and on the city's smaller stages, he recorded his first album, Tgouli Habibi, in 2010. With numerous albums over the years, including Nebghik (2011), Lakitek B'mimti (2016) and El galb ysoufri wé dahka tkouvri (2017), his approach to raï and his voice have won over audiences, who have turned some of his songs into real hits. " Hlal 3liya" (2018), "El galb aalik Ydemander" (2022) featuring Pichou and "Adieu el ouzoubia" (2023) accumulate millions of views and establish Bilal Sghir as a national and international raï figure of the early 21st century.
