Amel Amara

Born on February 7, 1981, Manel Amara first came to public attention for her role as Naziha in the series Pour Les Beaux Yeux de Catherine. Alongside her acting career, which saw her take part in numerous TV and film productions, the Tunisian launched her musical career with the song "Haram Aaleik". Taking on all the codes of Arab pop, Manel Amara's voice seduced the public, enough for her to decide to continue composing other songs, such as "Helwa Hayati " in 2010. While releasing an album in 2013, Awel Kelma Bledi, Manel Amara is making a name for herself in the music world with a very particular exercise: cover versions. From French chanson classics such as "La Vie En Rose" and "La Bohème" to Luis Fonsi's "Despacito", these new versions interpreted by the Tunisian singer have enabled her to reach an international audience, and to assert and distinguish herself within the country's music scene.
