ZED
Born in Sevran, Seine-Saint-Denis, France, the Congolese-born Zed emerged on the French rap scene through his participation in the group 13 Block from 2012. He contributed to the group's success, which took shape through two albums, BLO, in 2019 and BLO II in 2020. In 2018, he made his first solo appearance on Maes' track "Weed" , then appeared on Booba's "Jauné " in 2020. He stepped up his collaborations in 2021 with Hamza, Benab and Maes, then in 2022 with Moha MMZ and Nessbeal. In 2023, he released his first project in two volumes: Soixvnt3 (featuring Guy2Bezbar, Stavo, Tiakola and Niska) and Soixvnt3, pt. 2. In 2024, he released the single "#Zedeudé (60)" , which preceded the album Malcolm . The name of the latter refers to his real first name, but is also a tribute to the orator and political activist Malcolm X, featured in the video for his first track. Zola, Nekfeu, Laylow, SDM and Ziak are guest stars on the album.
