Jadiel el Incomparable
Before his career was cut short by tragedy, reggaeton singer Jadiel had established himself as one of the most promising talents in the Latin urban music scene. Born Ramón Alberto González Adams on December 22, 1985, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he began writing his first songs at the age of 8. In 2006, he made his debut with the song "No Me Voy a Olvidar de Ti," included in the Millennium compilation. This was followed by a series of features on singles by Alexis & Fido, Tito el Bambino, and La Sista, before releasing his studio debut Lo Mejor de Mí in 2008. Driven by the Top 10 single "Pretty Girl," Lo Mejor de Mí peaked at Number 16 on the Latin Rhythm Albums chart. Further singles like "Princesa" (2009), "Lloras Por Mí" (2010), "Amor Para Ti" (2011), "Me Descontrolo" (2012), and "Tu Angel" (2013), as well as collaborations with Farruko, Guido G, and Ivy Queen, finished cementing his reputation as a major player in the Puerto Rican music industry. Unfortunately, Jadiel's meteoric ascent to the top was abruptly interrupted by the singer's early death in 2014 in a motorcycle accident. Tsunami Is Back, his posthumous second album, appeared in 2017.
