Boris Brejcha
German DJ and music producer Boris Brejcha was born on November 26, 1981 in the Palatinate city of Ludwigshafen am Rhein. At the age of six, he was in the audience when the Ramstein air disaster happened, suffering severe burns that left deep scars on his body. He was often teased at school because of these scars and therefore started making music as a child. He learned to play the keyboard and drums and was the drummer in a band for six months. After listening to the music of the hardcore techno festival Thunderdome, he began producing electronic music at the age of twelve. his debut single "Monster" was released in 2006, followed shortly afterwards by "Yellow Kitchen". In the same year, he performed as a DJ at the Universo Paralello festival in Brazil. The following year, Raveline magazine named Boris Brejcha an exceptional talent in 2007, following the release of further singles and his debut album Die Maschinen Kontrollieren uns, which marked his musical breakthrough. Further albums and singles were released and after the DJ had achieved a high level of recognition, particularly in South America, he also made his musical breakthrough in Europe in 2017 with his performance in front of Fontainebleau Castle in France. 2020 saw the release of the album Space Diver, which reached number 50 in Switzerland and number 93 in Germany. the album Never Stop Dancing followed in 2021 with the singles "Spicy" with Ginger and "Take a Ride". The EP Vodka & Orange was also released in the same year with the single of the same name and two other tracks.
