Babydrill
Atlanta rapper BabyDrill evokes bone-chilling horror films with his volatile, paranoid verses over icy, hard-hitting trap beats. He has issued multiple collaborations with Young Nudy, and his 2022 release Drill Season included appearances by Latto and G Herbo. He further expanded his fiery, theatrical style with 2023's MadMan.
Originally known as Cristo4L, the rapper released the mixtape Mr. Body Dropper in early 2021 and appeared on Young Nudy's RCA-issued Rich Shooter the same year. He began releasing music as BabyDrill in 2022, starting with "32 Freestyle." He collaborated with Nudy again on the song "Duntsane," which appeared on the album EA Monster. BabyDrill released the Drill Season mixtape in November, with Latto and G Herbo providing guest features. An extended edition with four additional tracks appeared a month later. A second full-length, MadMan, arrived in June 2023 and found him embracing an even heavier sound. Featured on the album was the track "Slight Dub" with 21 Savage and Young Nudy.
