Xi Chen
Pianist Chen Xi was born in Tianjin in 1981. She began her studies at the age of four, giving her “Premier Performance” three years later. She graduated from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music and from the famous Central Conservatory in Beijing (where she currently teaches as pianist and vocal coach).
She has given several recitals both as a soloist and collaborative pianist, and performed monumental works such as Liszt and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerti alongside orchestras in Italy and China.
She has also performed in operas such as “Dido & Aeneas” (2010 and 2018), “Così fan tutte” (2014), “La Traviata” (2014), “Lucia di Lammermoor” (2015) and “L'elisir d’amore” (2016)
