Sloane

Belgian singer Sloane, whose real name is Samuel de Noose, began learning to play guitar in his teens, and became infatuated with folk music with pop undertones. This taste for acoustic chord progressions never left the artist, who was working as a mortician when he appeared on Belgian television during the fourth season of The Voice. Without abandoning his profession, he worked with producer Alex Germys on the track "Après le bip". In this first single, released in the summer of 2016, the singer's whistling folk introduction is followed by an electro-tinged pop chorus with light lyrics. Signed by a major record company, Sloane made the radio rounds with his folk singer look, hat on his head and guitar in hand, while the promotional video circulated on the internet.
