Lorne Lofsky
A talented cool-toned guitarist in the tradition of Jimmy Raney and his fellow Canadian Ed Bickert, Lorne Lofsky gained some recognition in the United States due to a 1980 Pablo album and a few tours with Oscar Peterson. Lofsky, who has also recorded as a leader for Jazz Inspiration, has been a sideman on recording sessions with Chet Baker, the Brass Connection, Kenny Wheeler, and Bickert, among others.
