Jessy Matador
Jessy Matador perpetuates the tradition of summer dancing. Begun by Kaoma's legendary "Lambada ", the movement has popularized a variety of rhythms from Latin America and Africa over the years. Jessy Matador is first and foremost an extraordinary dancer of Congolese origin, who has now turned his hand to song. His song "Décalé Gwada" features the coupé-décalé style, and reached No. 14 in the Top charts in summer 2008. His album Afrikan New Style was released in November 2008. On May 28, 2010, Jessy Matador represented France at the 55th Eurovision Song Contest with the track "Allez olé ola", followed by the album Elektro Soukouss the following month. Jessy Matador continued his successful career with Authentik in July 2013. This album was his first failure, but it didn't stop him from going back on the attack in 2014 with "Zuluminati " and 100% Show.
