iNCH is the stage name of Singaporean musician Chua Yun Juan, whose wide-ranging music blends a folky foundation with elements of electronic, alt-rock, jazz, and contemporary pop. Born in Singapore on December 22, 1988, she joined the local band Auburn's Epiphany at 16 years old. The group later changed its name to Allura and released an EP, Wake Up and Smell the Seaweed, in 2008. While continuing to play with Allura, iNCH attended La Salle College of the Arts and began recording her own acoustic songs, which she compiled onto her first solo EP, The Bedroom, in 2009. Self-produced and self-released, The Bedroom found an international audience on the internet and helped iNCH become the first Singaporean artist to play the South By Southwest music festival in Austin, TX. Maintaining her artistic independence, she released a holiday EP, Peace, Love & Mistletoe, in late 2009, then returned in 2010 with her full-length debut, Wallflower. While living in Los Angeles, she co-wrote a new batch of songs, which later appeared on the sophomore album Bumfuzzle in 2013. Two years later, she released another solo EP, Letters To Ubin, which featured the single "Simple Kind of Life." That same year, she also released a final record with Allure, titled 1832.
