Flavia Coelho
The Brazilian wave is once again spreading to France with Flavia Coelho. The young Carioca arrived in France in 2006, where she met a number of people who changed the direction of her music. On a base of bossa nova, pagode and frevo, Flavia Coelho brings a flow derived from hip-hop, while Cameroonian Bika Bika Pierre and Frenchman Victor Vagh bring her African music and reggae. The sum total of this work is Bossa Muffin, released in 2011 to unanimous acclaim for the tracks "Bossa Muffin" and "Sunshine ". Flavia Coelho releases her second album with Mundo Meu in June 2014. In 2016, the singer's third album, Sonho Real, was released.
