Christopher Martin
Dancehall vocalist Christopher Martin was born in Saint Catherine, Jamaica in 1987. After graduating high school, he won the Digicel Rising Stars televised talent competition in 2005 for singing, and quickly gained regional stardom. He took his newfound fame to various live performances and eventually began releasing original singles, starting with "Don't Go" in 2006. He was a singles artist for many years, scoring hits with tracks like "Take My Wings," "Giving It," and the Busy Signal collaboration "Jamaican Girls." Martin signed with VP Records in 2013, and in 2017 his first full-length album, Big Deal, arrived on the label.
